The Thayer Police Department tells me that Thayer Fire Department and the Mammoth Spring Fire Department responded to the call around 1 AM to put out a fire on Lacy Avenue in Thayer Monday morning.
According to officials, nobody was home at the time of the fire and no injuries were reported.
They believe the fire started in the garage area of the home.
From listener reports, the main area of damage is the garage.
