The Arkansas State Police reports that 69-year-old Oscar Turnbull was injured when he swerved to avoid a deer in the roadway, drove off the road, down an embankment, and overturned the pickup he was driving. Turnbull was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home. The accident happened on Highway 223 north of Pineville.
