Thursday morning around 9:30, 55-year-old Roger Counts of Eminence suffered minor injuries when he skidded off the road and struck a tree. The accident happened on county road 401 a mile south of Eminence. He was taken to Ozarks Healthcare.
Thursday afternoon at 4:40 pm, three people were injured in an accident in Howell County. 19-year-old Lindzey Summers of Wilow Springs, 18-year-old Austin Anderson of Pomona, and a baby less than a year old all suffered minor injuries when Anderson’s vehicle failed to yield and hit another vehicle, no one in the other vehicle was injured. The accident happened on highway 63 at Highway N.
At 4:50 pm, Thursday afternoon 67-year-old Diana Dawson of mountain Grove suffered serious injuries when she drove off the road and hit an embankment and a tree. Dawson was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Hidden Valley Drive a half mile southeast of Mountain Grove.
Then at 5 pm Thursday, a one-year-old girl was injured when a vehicle driven by 39-year-old Joseph Farris ran over her. The girls was in a child safety seat and was on the ground in front of the vehicle. The child was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway FF, a half mile east of Ava.
