Nearly 60 acres of land burned Monday in Baxter County. The fire was in rural Gassville on county road 4. Authorities say that the owner of the land was burning his land when the fire spread and became out of control. Bulldozers were used to help stop the fire. There are no reports of any injuries or structure damage.
