The Highway Patrol reports that 20-year-old Dylan Doverspike and a 17-year-old girl both suffered serious injuries when Doverspike crossed the center of the road and hit the car the girl was driving. Both Doverspike and the girl were flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened on Highway 5, five miles south of Dora.
